MARI has been instrumental in ensuring dignified and accessible sanitation solutions for elderly and disabled individuals across 19 villages. By conducting detailed assessments and understanding the unique challenges faced by the beneficiaries, MARI facilitated the distribution of 524 toileting chairs and 270 walkers, achieving 100% fulfillment of the project’s objective.
The organization’s approach focused on inclusivity and sustainability, directly contributing to the Swachh Bharat Mission’s goals. MARI’s efforts in identifying the right beneficiaries, selecting suitable aids, and executing targeted interventions have significantly improved the quality of life for vulnerable individuals. Through this project, MARI reaffirmed its commitment to social welfare, health, and hygiene, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of dignified sanitation.
