MARI has effectively aligned itself with this project by fostering environmental consciousness and sustainable waste management practices among communities, especially children. Through extensive awareness campaigns in schools and municipalities, MARI has empowered students and citizens with the knowledge of source segregation and recycling. By actively engaging volunteers and students, the initiative has reached over 72,196 households and collected 720 metric tons of dry waste, significantly reducing landfill burden and carbon emissions.
MARI’s commitment is further demonstrated by the establishment of the Dry Recyclable Collection Centre (DRCC) in Peerzadiguda Municipal Corporation, ensuring long-term waste recovery and management. Additionally, its involvement in large-scale events, such as the Har Ghar Tiranga rally and World Environment Day activities, showcases its dedication to community-driven environmental action. Through structured interventions and strategic collaborations, MARI continues to drive impactful change, reinforcing sustainable habits and contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
