Objectives:

  • Facilitating rehabilitation of children through a platform of networks amongst organizations throughout the country.
  • Promoting child rights amongst every citizen through awareness about CHILDLINE 1098.
  • Bringing forth core issues for advocacy, Research and Documentation of issues related to children in need of care and protection.
  • Promoting issues related to Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP) by Sensitization of Organizations, Institutions, NGOs, Corporate Sector, Media, Community, Youth & Individuals.

Prevention, Rescue & Rehabilitation :

  • 534 Outreach Awareness Programs Conducted with 70,201 People on Child Rights, Child Marriages, Abuse issues, and Child related issues.
  • 06 Special Drives Conducted for Rescue of Child Labour and Begging with the support of Labour department and Police.
  • Conducted 19 Mass
    Awareness programs in major exhibitions and events to build awareness.
  • 548 Calls received and Rescued 522 Cases.
  • 126 Child Education Issues & Problems Solved.
  • Provided Shelter & Integrated Services for 48 Children.
  • 339 cases of Abuse, Rescued & Rehabilitated.
  • 9 Cases Linked with Line Department.

Activities :

  • 7 Mandal Level & 16 Village Level Advisory Board & Committee Meetings were conducted.
  • District level BALA ADALATH Conducted with 361 Applications and linked with line Departments.
  • 10Special events Organized with collaboration of Line Departments.
  • Azadika Amrith Mahotsav Programs Conducted with 3682 Children.
  • TWO Staff & TWO Voluntary Training sessions have been conducted on Child Related Issues.

Others : MARI’s employees viz., Ravi Krishna, Sruthi and Jayasudha (Childline Project) were felicitated and awarded the “District Level Best Worker” by Warangal city’s District Collector Mr. Rajiv Gandhi
