Objectives:

  • Identifying the elderly and disabled persons in need of aid to address their toiletry needs but cannot afford to.
  • Surveying toileting chairs best suited to aid the elderly and Understanding the special requirements of disabled persons.

Achievements :

  • 524Elderly & Persons with disabilities ( 245 Men and 279 Women ) from 19 villages were supported with 524toileting chairs & 270 walkers.
  • The project has achieved 100% fulfilment of the intended objective of ensuring safe and comfortable access to the toilet for the elderly population.

Goals : Providing customised toilet usage aids for elderly persons to promote inclusive sanitation progress and contribute to achieving the National objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) being pursued by the Government of India.
