Objectives:

  • Mitigation of health, Economic and Social impact relating to COVID-19 with respect to POCs and highly vulnerable host.

Achievements :

  • 6 CFLS Centers established with 226 children enrolled (ages 4-12 years).
  • 65 students mainstreamed into Government Schools.
  • 1,434 CFKs distributed to children aged 4-8 years.
  • 749 CFKs distributed to children aged 9-12 years.
  • 1908 POCs accessed referral services for various diseases.
  • 75 POCs referred for Covid Recovery Kit towards post-covid symptoms.
  • 636 POCs vaccinated for prevention of Measles through Balapur Upper Primary Health Center.
  • 244 POCs received treatment from Balapur PHC for Eye Conjunctivitis.
  • 1924 POC women & adolescent girls (ages 11-55 years) received information on menstrual hygiene along with Dignity Kit.
  • Community Health Center, Barkas received Medical & Equipment Support for quality health services, especially for children & pregnant women.
  • 1073 PWSN households received voucher-based supplementary needs support.
  • 48 POCs received cash grants for business development.

Activities :

  • 15 higher education students preparing for board exams accommodated in evening tuition.
  • 10 CHVs trained on Covid Appropriate Behaviour, Psychological First Aid, and Referral Pathway.
  • 100 POC women completed 6 months of skill training in English, Urdu, and Maths (adapted from NCERT primary level syllabus).
  • 10 Barefoot Counsellors trained on basic counselling, Gender-Based Violence, Paralegal Volunteer Training, Tree of Life, Couple Counselling & Conflict Resolution, Psychological First Aid, Mental Illness, Survival-Centered Approach, Orientation on FCRM, Peaceful Masculinity, and Social Cohesion Training.
  • 32 domestic violence cases counselled and referred to appropriate services.
  • 25 Youth Leaders trained on Peaceful Masculinity and Paralegal Volunteerism.
