Activities:
- Programs related to Poultry, Sheep rearing and Nutrition under Integrated Farming Systems, Pandal Vegetable Cultivation, Green Manure Cultivation, and BioControl Agents have been implemented.
Achievements :
- 10 Households covered with Drip systems and Sprinklers.
- 11 farmers growing organic pandal vegetable cultivation.
- 10 farmers practising mixed cropping.
- 10 new farmers took up fodder cultivation.
- 50farmers are involved in Zero Budget natural farming.
- 30 farmers supported with Green manure cultivation (Jeeliga Seed).
- 16 farmers supported with Integrated Farming system (IFS) viz., Poultry, Sheep raring and vegetable cultivation.
- A village knowledge centre has been set up in Mekalagattu village with Agri tools and operated as a community-led Custom Hiring Centre.
